In the exhibition ‘World's Best Communication Design 2025 and Highlights from NRW’, we will be presenting award-winning communication design from around the world from 27 February to 31 May 2026. More than 800 analogue and digital exhibits from 39 countries will be on display – from books, posters and commercials to apps, websites and interactive formats.
All of the works presented in the exhibition have been recognised in the international Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design 2025 competition. There is a special focus on projects by agencies and clients from North Rhine-Westphalia that have been particularly successful in the competition.
Opening on Thursday, 26 February 2026
The exhibition will open on Thursday, 26 February 2026, with a vernissage at the Red Dot Design Museum on the grounds of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Zollverein. It will begin at 7:30 p.m., with admission starting at 7:00 p.m.
After a welcome by Thomas Kufen, Lord Mayor of the City of Essen, Jova Zec, Vice President of Red Dot, will present selected works using video clips. Participation in the vernissage is free of charge; registration is possible via our online portal.
