Special exhibition 12 April 2024 – 26 May 2024
From 12 April to 26 May 2024, the exhibition "World's Best Communication Design 2023 and Highlights from NRW" will showcase works in the field of communication design from more than 20 countries. From books, commercials and posters to apps and websites, visitors to the exhibition will experience the various facets of outstanding communication design. All of the works presented in the exhibition were honoured with the Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design 2023.
Surprising encounters: decentralised exhibition throughout the museum
A special feature of the exhibition is that it is not located at a central point in the museum. Instead, visitors encounter the communication design works at various points on their tour of the museum. One focus of the exhibition presentation can be found on level 1, another on level 4.
Award-winning design made in NRW
With important agency locations such as Cologne and Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia was able to maintain its position as a starting point for top creative achievements in the 2023 competition year: The winners from NRW include large companies such as Aldi, bofrost, Covestro, Deutsche Telekom, Gira, Grohe, hansgrohe, Henkel, Miele, Parador, Penny, RTL, Vorwerk and Zurich Insurance as well as small and large agencies such as beierdesign from Bielefeld, Markwald & Neusitzer from Düsseldorf, heureka from Essen, Elastique from Cologne, HELLA from Lippstadt, cyclos design from Münster, Neue Welt from Wuppertal, thjnk Düsseldorf or Interbrand and Meiré & Meiré from Cologne. A total of around 50 works from NRW can be seen in the exhibition.
