International Museum Day at the Red Dot Design Museum

On Sunday, 15 May 2022, design fans and all those interested in design go on a journey of discovery in the world’s largest exhibition of contemporary product design. From 2–3.30 p.m., the public tour of the Red Dot Design Museum Essen informs about latest industrial design, product culture and the fascinating architecture of the house.
The one hour and a half tour of the former boiler house of Zollverein Coal Mine Industrial Complex allows for interesting insights into the world of well-shaped and sophisticated designs. The visitors learn about latest trends in the various fields of international product design, about cultural and country-specific characteristics and how design has changed over the years.
