Sunday 8 March 2020 is International Women's Day. To mark this occasion, the public tour will place special emphasis on design by and for women. For the tour itself, women as well as men are of course welcome.
The one-and-a-half hour tour of the former boiler house of the Zollverein colliery provides an interesting insight into the world of innovative and well thought-out design. Visitors learn all kinds of interesting facts about current trends in the many areas of international product design, about cultural or country-specific features and about how design has changed over the years.
