The Red Dot Design Museum Essen presents around 2,000 exhibits on the grounds of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Zollverein. Visitors will experience the wide range of contemporary design during a tour of the exhibition on Sunday, 11 February 2018 from 3–4.30 p.m.
What characterises design? Which techiques are used? What are cultural specifics? These and further questions will be answered by using the exhibited objects as examples. On show are international designs from various living environments, among others furniture, consuzmer electronics and lifestyle accessories.
