The exhibition of Robert Sachon & Bosch Home Appliances Design Team is called “Icons of everyday life – Bosch Home Appliances throughout the ages”. The Red Dot: Design Team of the Year 2015 traditionally presents itself for four weeks with a self-designed and self-implemented special exhibition in the Red Dot Design Museum Essen, Germany.
Visitors will discover how the appearance of Bosch appliances has constantly developed further over time without losing the original character of the brand. Consequently, the exhibition focuses on archetypal design classics alongside the present status of design at Bosch. Especially in the past ten years, the team around Robert Sachon has succeeded in changing the perception of the brand decisively and in bringing the brand into a new digital era. The exhibition aims to illustrate that history and change do not contradict each other but are a combination that creates new and exciting products which remain current for many years.
