Designers‘ Night

Professional event
04 July 2016

On 4 July 2016, following the Red Dot Gala, the international design scene gets together in the Red Dot Design Museum for the Designers' Night. On that evening, around 1,800 guests from around the world celebrate the winners of the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2016. The after-show party is also the opening of the exhibitions “Design on Stage” and “Creative Video Revolution by Blackmagic Design”.

Design stars, CEOs and marketing managers as well as media representatives celebrate together until the early hours in the various locations on the grounds of the Zollverein UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Designers' Night offers winners and personalities from the business and design world the opportunity to network and also invites the guests to discover the best products of the year. At the heart of the Red Dot Design Museum, the Schürerstand, DJ “Chrissi D” creates the right mood. The entrance to this impressive hall opens up between steel steam boilers. At the far end of the hall, an Audi with opened doors is suspended from the ceiling. With his unique sound the former winner of the “MTV Battle-of-the-DJs” will entertain the guests throughout the night.

The limited tickets for the party and exhibition openings in the midst of historical industrial architecture and modern product culture are only available online  for 53.55 EUR. They include all drinks and high-class catering in the course of the Designers’ Night.
