Public tour
12 March 2017

Good design becomes especially apparent in use. That is why touching and testing many of the exhibits is explicitly allowed in the Red Dot Design Museum Essen. A guided tour for families starts on Sunday, 12 March 2017 at 3 p.m. During the one and a half hour long walkthrough, visitors will learn about the characteristics of good design.

Which trends are the latest? And which cultural and country-specific characteristics can be discovered? On 4,000 square meters both young and grown-up visitors can experience the complete range of modern and innovative product designs: from elaborate toys to stylish household items to exceptional furniture.

For families with children from 7 years

Participation fee: 5 € per person plus regular admission
Admission: 9 € (Reduced: 4 €)
