On Sunday, 20 March 2016, prize-winning communication design will be the focus of the public tour of the Red Dot Design Museum Essen. From 3–4.30 p.m., visitors will go on a journey of discovery and meet smart apps, impressing posters or attention-attracting advertising films.
From 18 March until 29 May 2016, the special exhibition “World’s Best Communication Design and Highlights from NRW” presents the latest Red Dot awarded creative achievements from North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) and from around the globe. Among the innovative works, which will turn the former boiler house of the Zollverein coal mine into a creative hot spot, are annual reports, packaging designs and typographies as well as games, interfaces and apps. The works grant insights in the latest and most exciting communication strategies and illustrate impressively how to advertise in a creative way today.
Using impressing books, expressive posters or innovative packaging designs as an example, the guided tour of the Red Dot Design Museum informs visitors about the state of the art in international communication design.
